Part “city” (or another shopping center), part wild river, part suburban development, part marina, some art. It was a lovely quiet morning of exploring on our bikes. Not many people around; I don’t think the shopping area is fully open yet. They’ve done a good job of protecting the river and wildlife – but the real estate (and boats) that it was built around are far out of the financial reach of most people. I don’t know why it has to be this way. I crave a more simple life around this natural¬†land. At least the bike path is open to the public.
