John started out this morning, putting a pork shoulder on his new grill and letting it slow cook all day with the heat of smoked wood chips. The whole neighborhood smelled of slow cooking pork and smoked wood chips. Jubilee was right beside John, keeping an eye on things. 6 hours later, we had pulled pork!
We might try this again for Labor Day weekend. It was good. I somehow fell asleep right after dinner, though. Like I was drugged! Maybe the wood chips?
