There’s always something just a little bit exciting about heading North, even if it is the middle of the summer. We set out early on a Thursday morning in July, en route to Aunt Louise’s 100th birthday celebration. We wanted to get north of Atlanta the first day, but only made it to Locust Grove. Our 2nd days was riddled with traffic jams (one big accident). It’s all part of the way we make our way around the Eastern part of the United States, staying connected with our clan(s). Becoming more important (and more deeply nourishing) these days.
