Who knows how old the Tiki is. John says that when he and Dennis, Eric and Caitlin, would go out on the boat 15-20 years ago, there was no Tiki. After bringing the boat in they would go to a place called the Mako, where they would make you a hamburger and fries. After that the Tiki came.

At any rate, this is the last weekend for the Tiki. We went down to bid the place farewell. It will be torn down and replaced by condos. Looked to me like a lot of old boaters were there to pay their respects to the end of an era.

We met Dennis there. Had a couple of drinks. There was a cameraman there for a local TV news story.

Good bye Tiki.
